Churches in Hexham - There are some great churches in Hexham. Try them out!
Schools in Hexham - Hexham schools are amongst the best in the country.
The Hexham Courant - An amazing newspaper that tells you everything that is going on in Tynedale. If you want to advertise an event in Hexham, the back page is the only place that matters.
Hexham used to be served by Tynedale Council, but now the Local Authority, Northumberland County Council is based in remote Morpeth.
The local Hexham Town Council continues to function, however, and really makes an effort to do things in the town, in conjunction with the Hexham Community Partnership.
The Queen's Hall is next door to Trinity, and is the local theatre and arts centre, with both professional and amateur performances. It also hosts the excellent Hexham Library.
The Wentworth Leisure Centre is great, and we hold our annual five-aside football tournament there. This year it is on Saturday June 12th 2010, to kick off our live screening of all the England games in the World Cup.
There are two local doctors' surgeries, both of which are on the same campus as Hexham Hospital.
There are also NHS Dentists on the main street. We go to Hexham Dental Clinic.
The Post Office is in Robbs which also is a department store.
The local supermarkets are M&S, Tescos, and Waitrose.
